We sat at the bar and watched these young men cook fish to perfection. The food is awesome. Try the clams in a curry sauce Never had better. And try the Seattle Martini. Coffee goodness with brandy soaked cherries

Great food. My friend had the garlic burger and loved it. I had their salmon special and it was delicious.

We were on a day trip near Anacortes and decided to give the Adrift a try because it was rated highly. The decor was cool. We took some photos of the place and food. My son had a burger and he said it "made the list". He has had burgers literally across the country so this is a strong statement. I took a couple of bites and he was not wrong. We had clams and they were great. Beers good and cold. I would probably eat at the food bar next time just because it would be good to see them preparing the food. Definitely a great place to try if in the area.

Best place for a date night in Anacortes by far. Will be coming here again and again and again and again!

A local friend recommended Adrift and we're thrilled she did. The staff is sincerely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere cozy with a nautical and book whimsy theme. Many gluten free choices. We had the breakfast tacos and The 222, both GF. The warm bun with the 222 was delicious and came with strawberry freezer jam that was to die for. The Tacos' tomatillo and chipotle sauces were perfect accompaniments. Coffee was rich and kept hot. We both wanted crisp bacon and the chef cooked it perfectly!

Fun vibe, sassy server and half priced bottles of wine added to our dining experience. Loved the pork and sweet potato tacos. We would definitely return! Crab cakes are a must!

Really cute restaurant on the quiet yet vibrant area of downtown Anacortes. It has that hip New American feel of a Seattle restaurant with well designed nautical decor. Food portions are not large but the flavor is great. I wasn't super impressed with the iced coffee though, and the fried egg sandwich is SUPER messy (more aptly called the exploding egg sandwich). All in all a great dining experience.

Had an absolutely delightful experience here!! Came in for a late lunch and decided to try a bunch of different food with my fiance. Everything was amazing!! I started it all off with their tomato soup that was outstanding! By far the best tuna sandwich I have ever had! Phenomenal crab cakes!! The burger and fries are also fantastic!! The service was great also! Lastly, they have fantastic chocolate cookies you will want to take home for later. I couldn't have asked for more! If you only have time to stop in and eat at one resturant in Anacotes, then this is it!!

We stopped in for breakfast on our way to Orcas Island. I ordered the anchor with pan fried oysters, Bread Farm sourdough toast, scrambled eggs and a potato cake.....it was delicious! The eggs were fluffy and hot and the pan fried oysters had a delicious remoulade. My husband order the fried egg sandwich with avocado. We both really enjoyed our meal. They really know their way around a great meal! Thank you!

First time ever in Anacortes today. Cold, grey and drizzling here has me looking forward to leaving for Asia Monday 🇹🇭🎄🧝‍♀️. Nice ambience in Adrift though and the waitress had sparkly eyes and a great smile. There were fun old books here and i told her about my book, Star Seed Nation Ascension into 5D which just published yesterday. She said she’ll buy it on amazon this week 📘! I ordered a local grass fed burger with Brie and a side of kale. All of it was super tasty. I took half of it home for later.

Great food, great service, great staff, and comfortable atmosphere. Very nice surprise to receive my "Daver" desert on the house for my birthday!-- it made for a truly genuine experience.

Delicious food! Blackened snapper tacos and the blackened snapper entree was A-MAZING! I highly recommend this restaurant. I also suggest you sit at the bar and watch the cooks! They got a great system and turn out MANY delicious looking meals. Why are you still reading? GO THERE!

This place is delicious. Kathryn was a great waitress, very accommodating for my friend's child. We thought the menu in the children's book was genius!

Quirky little joint with an interesting vibe. Water with a hint of lime refreshing extra touch. Fried egg sandwich perfect! Eggs Benedict perfect! Frenzy what! Good not your average burgers as well. Just an fyi they know their way around an egg something about the quality and preparation of them just something else.

The best place so far that we stopped by for a weekend vacation in Anacortes. The service is welcoming and friendly and the food is abundant and very delicious. We had the Steamer (clams and mussels), a cup of Thai tomato bisque soup, an utterly tasty crab cake, and their soft and buttery fish of the day, wild king salmon. All are yummy! I have a strong feeling we're gonna be back here again before we leave Anacortes.

fantastic. fresh tasting dishes, loved the dill tuna salad, the coconut mashed sweet potatoes, the grilled marinated tofu. I would go out of my way to return.

We got to the ferry early, so we decided to check this place out for lunch. It was pretty busy but we got a table right away. We got the Dungeness Crab Au Gratin. It had a sliced baguette to spread it on. So delicious and appetizing. I had a burger and the wife got the fish tacos. Everything was amazing and fast. Service was superb and it wasn’t too loud. This place is a must see with nice history on the walls. Will return when in town.

You Rock. Friendly, Delicious and Cozy. Our go to in Anacortes for breakfast, and Now the best dinner. Also, easier to get into on buddy nights than the shmoozy restraunts down the street.

The garlic burger was outstanding. The beet salad was good, but pricey for the size. Fish tacos were also good. My husband enjoyed the little cup of mango salsa.

Best breakfast ever. So so good! Biscuit with crab cake Benedict style....need I say more. Get yourself here quick.

I live for the Kale Brutus (spicy Caesar) salad from Adrift. I was so pleased they were willing to serve it for brunch even though it wasn't on the breakfast menu.

Had a great experience at this place on the way back from the trip to Deception pass. We came at around 5pm on Wednesday and were seated easily, later the restaurant became very crowded. We had Manhattan chowder, pan fried oysters and garlic burger. Everything was very tasty, the servers were very attentive and tried to accommodate all of our requests. I like the atmosphere and decoration of the place.

A celebration of Pacific Northwest cuisine, the menu for Adrift is replete with fresh seafood, hearty burgers, and a great selection of beer/cider. The fish tacos were lightly seared with a delicious Cajun seasoning. The Cioppino was an absolute pleasure down to the last bite. The tomato broth it was served in was perfect for dipping (the bread was baked inhouse).

Very limited and esoteric menu, possibly too much so. I did like the one experience I had there and hope to give it another try. Very nice atmosphere with a vaguely nautical theme.

Eat the scallops. Eat the coconut chocolate mousse. Sit at the counter. Get there early on a Saturday!

I stopped by to try the local fare and was suggested by the extremely friendly staff that the blackened salmon tacos were a must try. You have to ask for it blackened. The fish taco enthusiast in me told me to go for it. It is deff on the top 5 best fish tacos if not the best I have ever eaten so flavorful and beautiful. This is a habit forming taco. I will be back and soon.

By far one of the best seafood restaurants I have ever been to. Highly recommend the baked fish - cod. My husband had the blackened cod and he loved it too.

Great food and service

This is a good place to eat. My wife and I stopped in while passing through town. I had the crab cakes which were quite good. Meal included something green, kale I guess which was extremely chewy. Tasted alright but I thought I should have one of those four compartment stomachs like a cow in order to digest this stuff. Seems a little pricey.

Absolutely incredible food and service. Our ferry was delayed and they worked with us to keep our reservation. Flavors are not typical but in the best way possible.

The food was great, and so was the service. I had the sweet potato and pork tacos and the Sailor's Sundae. We'll definitely be back!

Took family here on a Monday afternoon after visiting Deception Park. Laid back venue. Had the blackened salmon sandwich! It was good, though the fried oyster sandwich sounded delicious too shop will come back for that one!!

Cozy bistro in the heart of Anacortes. Menu caters for those just wanting a sandwich or a snack though to seafood and steak entrees. My King Salmon in lemon caper sauce was fresh, perfectly cooked, well presented and delicious. Recommended for anyone who appreciates good food for a good price. Will definitely be returning.

Great food! Honey lemonade, homemade strawberry jam and biscuits, and the best veggie hash I've ever had. They have half portions and gluten friendly options available as well

Great burgers and seafood! The oven fries were a great idea, but half were burnt and the other half were underdone, avoid them since it looked like thats normal since they are all cut different sizes. But great otherwise!!

Love it. Great for dinner and amazing for breakfast. Staff are super friendly, sit at the bar and watch the trio of chefs prepare a broad array of delicious entrees and appetizers. Super healthy options.
